Recently, our partners at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) received national recognition for the work they’ve done with Envision the Choptank! NOAA says:

We are happy to announce that NOAA has awarded the agency's highest honor to the federal employees engaged in establishing the Envision the Choptank effort. The NOAA Administrator’s Award recognizes employees who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, skill, and ingenuity in their significant, unique, and original contributions to NOAA, the Department of Commerce, and the Federal Government. This award was given to the team "For leading a multi-year effort to develop the Envision the Choptank partnership and its common agenda." The recipients are as follows (and, of course, were aided by the great work of Lauren Taneyhill who is employed as an agency contractor):
